We are ADOPTING!

The Lord is SO kind to allow us to be on the journey of adoption.

From the start of our relationship, adoption was placed on our hearts both individually & together as we learned from books written by David Platt & Katie Davis and taking mission trips both globally + locally. It was always our first choice. Quickly after our first year of marriage, we thought God fulfilled that desire completely as we gained custody of a child. We have been HONORED to play a role of in stewarding his precious life and will continue to do so for the rest of ours.

However, the Lord has made it very clear to us that our journey to adoption has not ended! We are excited about this! Through the Lord leading us in scripture, wise counsel & the testimony of others, we have decided to pursue domestic infant adoption with an agency local to us! The agency & families involved in the adoption process aim to support the birth mother prior to the delivery & remain in relationship with her afterwards.

This journey is beautiful, redemptive & sacred. It’s a true picture of the gospel. We are thankful to be a vessel in God’s work!

If you would like to walk alongside us during our journey, we would be honored! Prayers are powerful & work miracles. We covet yours. Please pray for the health & life of our future baby, the physical & mental health of the birth mother, the gospel to be shared to & accepted by the birth mother, and that God’s glory would be magnified to everyone who walks within this journey or hears about it from afar. Another way to walk alongside us is by donating to our fundraising goal! All financial gifts given during fundraising support our family with the agency fees, home-studies, trainings, legal fees, placement & necessities in the process. We thank you both now & forever for your prayers and gifts! We know the Lord will provide as He always does. We are claiming “Manna for today” as a reminder of His faithfulness to the Israelites as He brought them out of Egypt into the Promise Land.
