Bringing a bRussell Sprout home to Kyle and Azie

Hello lovely people, my name is Jayme Lyon. I am Kyle and Azie Russell's cousin, friend and admirer.

These two are some of the best placed on this Earth. They have a strong love for each other, the Lord, their family and really anyone, but there is definitely a special spot for children in their hearts. For years we were on the same road of infertility, praying, trying and hoping to have children. Kyle and Azie have tried so many things and have been following the advice of their doctors. It has been recommended to them that it is time for them to do IVF-starting in June! What a financially overwhelming, but exciting adventure!

I have mentioned to them before I will happily be on board whenever they need fundraising help. I got that message last night. In Azie's own words, "I'm shy to ask for help, but I know we seriously need it right now."

I personally know no one else more deserving. Everyone who meets them I feel is touched by them, their service oriented hearts, their dance moves, their humor, their love. You can't help but want to be around them. They leave a trail of light and love where ever they go.

I asked them to each write about each other, and I warn you I cried when I read them. They are a beautiful couple, who will be outstanding, extraordinary, amazing parents!

From Kyle about Azie:

I first met Azie Kay 9 and a half years ago. She came in and danced a little shuffle in the kitchen of her apartment I was visiting, happy about a grade on a recent college exam. That was how she danced her way straight into my heart. Marrying her was the best decision that I have ever made. Anyone who knows Azie Kay will know that she is a mother in all aspects of the word, even though we didn't have any of our own. The number of kids that she has taught in the community and at our church that refer to her as "Mama Azie" is beyond counting. She even was the "mom" of the apartment while at college with all of her roommates. She is the strongest pillar in my life. When everything seems to be going wrong, she turns to me and tells me that no matter what it is, we can make it through together, and we always have. During the hard times when we have dealt with false positive pregnancy tests , and roadblocks at every turn, she has always been able to get back up again and keep pushing, even after 8 years of little to no results. She is kind, loving, and caring, and can't stand to see anyone do without. She is the last one to dip her plate at the supper table, but the first one to stand up and help everyone else get their food. I honestly cannot put into words how much I admire her and her strength everyday. I love her more than anything.

From Azie about Kyle:

Kyle is my whole heart. He is kind and smart and funny. One of the reasons that I love him most is because he loves to have a good time. He makes even the most boring days fun. He is always up for an adventure and usually gets upset when I do something fun on a day he can't come. He is the smartest person I have ever met. If he doesn't know the answer, he will figure it out. I love how much he supports me in anything I want to do. He is the best nurse to me when I am sick and lets me choose the movies when we have date nights at home. He loves to read almost as much as I do. He is a lover of dad jokes and silly dance moves. He has been committed to me and our family since the beginning and he has never once waivered. He brings calm to our home and helps steady my feet when life tries to knock me down. He is solid. He is constant. He is forever my always. I can't wait to watch him become a father. I know he is going to be the absolute best.

All donations will be used to cover the cost of IVF. Medications, procedures, doctor visits and so forth. I have rarely, if ever, had them ask for help. They are usually the first ones out there helping someone else. I know any and all financial assistance would mean the absolute world to them!
