first, let me start by saying that I don't like the idea of putting a GoFundMe up and asking for money in general. But in my eyes I don't have much of a choice. I need to get the ball rolling with an attorney to get my son back in Florida. And I honestly don't see another way right now.
So, almost two years ago my ex went out to Colorado with my son. And the biggest mistake I ever made was letting it happen. Trying to talk to her and be nice. I was trying to keep courts, custody, and lawyers out of this. That was my mistake. So now I have an uphill battle facing me. The long and the short of it is this is the dollar amount I need for an attorney in Colorado. I cannot stand to wait any longer. There is no real reason for her keeping him out there. All of his family is here in Florida. These actions affect everyone around my ex not just her. So I feel like I can't wait any longer. Any amount will help with the retainer needed to at least get her in court. I have set up countless hours thinking and sobbing about it. Every day I see people with their children and it rips my heart. So I'm letting go of my ego, my pride. And asking for help when I need it.
