Help Victoria Reunite with Her Son, Evan

Hi, my name is Sarah, and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my best friend, Victoria — a devoted and loving mom to her 10-year-old son, Evan.

Right now, Victoria is only allowed to see Evan through supervised visitation due to a high-conflict custody case. The court granted her a few hours each week starting in early May, but she wasn’t able to see him until now — not because she didn’t want to, but because she simply couldn’t afford the cost.

Supervised visits come with steep fees — the supervisor’s time, gas mileage, and travel — adding up to hundreds of dollars for just a short visit. On top of that, Victoria has already spent thousands of dollars on legal fees just to be able to see her son.

To make things even harder, she’s not allowed to call, text, or speak with Evan at all outside these visits — even though that restriction is not in the court order. This means that unless she can afford supervised time, she has no way to hear her son’s voice or even check on how he’s doing.

Victoria has never been away from Evan more than two days in his entire life. She doesn’t take vacations. She doesn’t use babysitters. Evan has always been by her side — her constant companion, her world.

She didn’t want me to start this fundraiser. She’s the strongest person I know and doesn’t like asking for help. But I’ve watched her love this boy with everything she has, and I know she needs support now more than ever.
