My name is Dilcia and I am fundraising for my family after my husband, Milton C., was detained by ICE on November 22 while buying materials for his construction job. After nearly 20 years living and working in this country, with no criminal record, he is now detained in a center in Texas, over 1,600 miles away, with a court date in February.

We have two young children.

Our oldest son asks every day when his dad will come home, and our youngest, who has autism, is having a very hard time with the change in routine. Without Milton, we lost our only source of income and I am struggling to pay rent, food, utilities, and transportation.

I truly believe that my husband has a strong case, but we need an attorney to try to obtain his release on bond and bring him back home. Legal costs are very high, and we have no way to cover them on our own.
