Bring Trinity Home: Legal Help Needed

Hey, my name is Julie, and as most of you know, my daughter, Trinity, is not in my possession currently. She recently had to go to a therapy school that cost over $4,500 for me to send her to. While she was there, she lived with her GG for transportation reasons. Now her GG is refusing to give her back to me, trying to say she has legal custody of her, which she hasn't since 2022. So the police say this is a civil matter since it's a 'custody issue.'

I am a single mom of two kids who does not receive child support because my kids' father is incarcerated, and I am doing the best I can financially, but I do not have the full funds for a lawyer. This is super embarrassing for me to have to ask for help, but I need my daughter home and I need to get her into a mental health facility that will help her do better in life. But before I can do that, I need her back in my care.

I have a membership through my company where I have access to lawyers, but my membership does not cover all fees. I am needing help. Any donation will be very appreciated, or even if you can't donate, being a character witness for me would be helpful as well. Thank you all!
