Bring the Xmas Joy with A Grotto of Her Own

We are a small team of creatives launching an independent art space near King’s Cross and this Christmas we are transforming an ex barber shop into a fantasy feminist exploration.

What if Santa’s wife wakes up one day and realises she’s had enough of being somebody’s sidekick… and that it’s time for A Grotto of Her Own.

At the heart of our re-imagining is a pussy grotto, a secret chamber of Christmas joy where awakened wishes come true.

Step inside our merry dreamscape and have your tarot read, sit on Butch Santa’s knee, watch the movie Carol by candlelight or join an artist-led festive workshop.

We want you to come for your Chosen Family portrait and stay for the mince pussy pies.

Everyone on the naughty list is invited! And we will be opening our doors to the public at weekends from mid-November and through the Christmas holidays.

But we need your help to make the pop-up grotto happen. With one month until we open, we urgently need to raise £2,000 so that everyone can share in the vagina joy.

The grotto is our fundraising kickstarter to run a permanent centre for feminist art and thought in London. This is our first project and we are excited to welcome you to the space. 10% of grotto proceeds will go to Nia, a local charity who deliver services to end violence against women and children.
