Bring the Jack family home

Please support this fundraiser to hopefully bring us closer to bringing the Jack family home.

It's been 35 years since the Jack family - Ronnie, Doreen, Russell and Ryan - vanished from Prince George. Since 1989 our family has been without answers about what happened to our loved ones. We’ve never given up trying to find them.

In the recent months the family has learned new information that is impossible for us to ignore.

We are asking for financial support to return to Prince George from Vancouver to follow-up on this information and more than one trip may be necessary in the coming months. Sadly, this kind of travelling is a financial burden that we cannot carry on our own that we are humbly asking for help with!

Expenses include flights and hotel for the investigating family members. The expenses included are mostly one-off items such as giftcards for gas and food, either for the investigating family members or volunteers and other people as necessary.

When we did the search in June 2024 it was with the help of United Way, our band office and mainly our own money so it posed a challenge to how much we could do. We had tried to pay our volunteers on the field either through food or small amounts of money where we could where necessary. We strive to be consistently better prepared the coming searches hoping to have food again and safety equipment supplies to do a search.

Everyone who will be travelling and benefiting from this fundraiser will need to be present to follow up on specific information relating to the disappearance of our family

I understand that people have sincere questions about the status of the case. I hope for now that we get help to find our family and that we can talk openly about what we know soon.

Our main goal for now is to bring our family home and we will share more when it is appropriate to do so.

My name is Bridgitte Lopez and I am the daughter of Marlene Jack. Doreen was my mom’s older sister who I never had the chance to meet but have heard of her story throughout my own life. I want to bring my family home and I am hoping this fundraiser will alleviate some of the challenges that my mom and our family face in trying to get closure around the missing Jack family’s disappearance.
