Hello Earth Angels!

Thank you everyone for your support in helping us bring Stan closer to loved ones in Florida.

My dad, Stanley Tamulinas, has experienced many hardships in the last 20 years. I guess you can say it began when he lost his father, Thomas. Dad lived with his father almost his entire life and losing him was a great lose to him. Then in 2011 he lost his house when the housing market collapsed. He experienced periods of homelessness since that time. During this time, he lived with my brother Nick, who suffered from addiction. My dad never left Nick. It was a deeply codependent situation and my brother died of his addiction in 2019, my father was with him when he passed. Dad drifted from place to place after this. It was the most difficult periods of his life. He eventually ended up in the mountains of Northern California, renting a small cabin from my mother.

Mu dad has micro strokes. He began to experience these in the early 2000. In July Stan suffered a fall from health conditions that needed attention and a micro stroke. After his hospital stay he began rehabilitation at Auburn Oaks Care Center in Auburn California.

Dad made excellent progress and met him goals in a little over a month. Everyone at Auburn Oaks really enjoyed getting to know Stan and he was really happy with the care he received.

Currently he is living at a private home for seniors in Roseville, Ca. We fell so blessed to have met earth angels that have provided us with helpful advice and resources during this transition. Dad says the place is beautiful and the people who take care of everything are nice. He is comfortable there until he moves to Florida.

Meanwhile in Florida. I have found a great place really close to me in an active senior community. Once we get his finances back into his hands, we can begin the process of renting a place here. He is so excited to start his new life!

For the time being, Stan will stay in Roseville where he is getting excellent attention from doctors and therapist and has our favorite angel, Holly, helping him with getting to appointments, and running errands. Stan the man is in good hands. We are so happy for him.

Thank you to everyone who has helped make Stan's dream come true. He told me, "It's like I get a whole new life."
