hello my name is desha! i’m starting this gofundme to help my family && i to visit my stepfather, who sadly was deported almost 3weeks ago.. my little brother, Alex is only 7yrs old && doesn’t understand why they’ve taken his daddy away☹️. he begs god everyday to bring his daddy back home. Jose has been in this country since he was 12yrs old && this is the only place he’s ever really known. he’s worked tirelessly, 7days a week from sun up to sun down. he had multiple happy, dedicated clients that consider him family after working so long for them! he’s worked for many well known lawyers && even the former congressman that have provided character letters on Jose’s behalf. he has paid taxes, helped the community when he could && is a great father to my baby brother Alex, as well as his 2 older boys (one who’s autistic as well as other health issues). Jose has been a father figure to me for years && has always helped me && been there for me since. he treats me like one of his own && is the best grandfather to my 10month old son as well. none of this mattered to immigration! Jose && my mother, have spent so much money on lawyers so they could’ve been prepared in case anything were to happen this year. every year in the past for his check-in he showed up on time && they’ve always let him come back home but this year was different.. since he’s been gone, we’re all so lost. my mother is now left to do everything on her own. she also found out a week after my stepfather was deported that she is now pregnant. this has been the hardest thing we’ve ever had to go thru. since Jose is unable to come back to America for a very long time, we’re trying to figure out ways Alex could see his father still even if it’s just a visit. this has been so hard on my little brother. it breaks my heart as an older sister knowing his daddy was ripped away from him so quickly. he has never spent a day without his dad. no 7yr old, or any child for that matter should have to go thru this☹️.. he is acting out at home && also having a lot of sad moments while at school. i’m hoping to get some donations so we can get enough for Alex to be able to visit his daddy in Mexico. anything helps && all is appreciated. prayers are also greatly appreciated as we all just want him back home. i want my brother to be happy again.. i attached photos of my brothers with their dad && messages between my brothers teacher && my mom. i blocked their faces out due to us being afraid of retaliation.. thankyou for reading. god bless!
