A lot of you may know Tiffany & Seamus or you may know their dogs Caesar & Cleopatra.

It’s hard not to know one without the other.

Recently life has not been easy for them.

Firstly, their dog Cleopatra tore her second knee and needed surgery with a specialist. The day of the surgery which was September 9th Seamus was taken by ICE.

Tiffany could not speak to him and did not know where he was for 72 hours, or why he was even taken.

She finally found out he was taken to Buffalo, NY. He had been there for 2 weeks before being moved to El Paso, TX, where he still is.

Seamus went through the process for a green card, paying a lawyer to file all the paperwork. He paid every fee, went to all appointments did everything they required. Seamus did everything he needed to do the right way & was still taken by ICE.

Seamus has been in this country living in the Boston area for 16 years.

He came here on a visa from Ireland in 2009 & has no criminal record.

He has made a life for himself in this country, he works hard and provides for his family.

Two weeks ago their lawyer filed for a court day for bond, Seamus went to the hearing and was granted bond by a judge and by ICE, Tiffany paid the $4000 bond fee they wanted and could not wait for the release of Seamus. Days went by with no release. Only to find out the government denied the bond, saying Seamus said he came here on a tourist visa when it was actually a different kind of visa. This was a simple mistake.

So they are back at square one, waiting for another court date which could take months. Why, because of how backed up the courts are and with the government shut down, this just makes for more lawyer fees.

Tiffany has been dealing with everything on her own, between trying to get an 90lb Doberman around while she’s recovering from major surgery, trying to gather any and all paperwork for the lawyer, stay positive for Seamus, taking care of their 4 other animals She is doing all this with a smile on her face. There is so much on her shoulders right now and with only one income at the moment things have not been easy. They have already spent over $15.000 on lawyer fees and

Tiffany is trying to manage everything on her own right now, including rent, bills car payments car insurance everything the animals need including psychical therapy for Cleopatra who just had surgery.

One of the worst parts of this is their dogs do not understand why their Dad is not home with them. If you know Tiffany or Seamus you know what their animals mean to them.

Tiffany and Seamus do not deserve this at all. They are good people who work hard and are just trying to make a life together. They are also people who don’t like to ask for help, but right now they need our help. This is a tragic situation and they are doing everything they can to bring Seamus home, where he belongs.

They have both been through hell the past 9 weeks. They have been handling all of this on their own and did not expect or want to ask for help but it has not gotten easier, only harder.

The facility Seamus is in is over packed, they aren’t fed enough they can’t get proper medical treatment and it is not something he deserves.

For the couple to even speak to each other they need to pay for each phone call.

They are both suffering tremendously and being apart from each other is only making matters worse.

Anything helps right now and fully goes towards the release of Seamus,

it is appreciated more than words can say.
