Help Bring Rico Home After a Stroke

In July, my dad came to Biloxi to celebrate my mom’s birthday. What was supposed to be a joyful visit turned into a heartbreaking struggle when he suffered a severe stroke.

It’s now been almost three months, and he’s still in the hospital — unable to talk, breathe on his own, or swallow. He’s fighting every single day, but our family has been facing so many challenges along the way.

We live about two hours from Biloxi, and being away from home for so long has taken a huge financial and emotional toll. Between travel, bills, and the cost of care, it’s been hard to keep up. Now, we’ve learned that it will cost $4,500 to bring him home, where he can continue his recovery surrounded by family and familiar faces.
