<div>In July, my dad came to Biloxi to celebrate my mom’s birthday. What was supposed to be a joyful visit turned into a heartbreaking struggle when he suffered a severe stroke.

<div>It’s now been almost three months, and he’s still in the hospital — unable to talk, breathe on his own, or swallow. He’s fighting every single day, but our family has been facing so many challenges along the way.

<div>We live about two hours from Biloxi, and being away from home for so long has taken a huge financial and emotional toll. Between travel, bills, and the cost of care, it’s been hard to keep up. Now, we’ve learned that it will cost $4,500 to bring him home, where he can continue his recovery surrounded by family and familiar faces.
