We are Jason and Jenifer Heath, and we recently became aware of a 15-year-old young lady in South America in need of a forever home. She desperately wants a mom, a dad, and siblings and has specifically requested an Evangelical Christian family. We are feeling led to add her to our family. We believe we can give her the love and support she longs for. Our main barrier this time around is the finances. As many of you know, we completed the international adoption of a 16-year-old boy just one year ago, and we never realized we would be adopting again so soon. We are so thankful that we didn't need to fundraise for our first adoption. However, this time we could use some support from friends and family that understand our heart for at-risk youth and the critical situation of those without families. There are fees every step of the way... the home study, background checks, translation of documents, medical appointments, psych evaluations, and the list goes on and on and on.

Time is running out, and although many of you aren't in a position to add an older teen to your home, maybe you're willing to partner with us in making a girl's dream come true. We don't want anyone to feel pressured to give; however we believe that despite tough economic times, many of you will be willing to give something. And everyone's little adds up to be a lot! We would greatly appreciate you joining us in praying for our sweet girl, that she will have peace in the waiting. For this to happen in time, miracles will need to occur, but we know that all things are possible with our God!
