This past year has been a turning point for me. I’ve had to take a hard look at where things haven’t been stable, and I am committed to changing that and creating a more consistent, secure life for my daughters.

Over the past several weeks, our situation changed quickly and unexpectedly. Due to housing restrictions, we had to leave our living situation in St. George. With no immediate housing available, I made the incredibly difficult decision to temporarily have my three daughters stay with their father, my partner, while I relocated to Mesquite to find work and rebuild.

It has now been over five weeks since I’ve been able to live with my girls.

Since then, we have been doing everything we can to move forward. I have secured a job and have been working, and my partner is starting work this week, so we can build stable income together. For now, he is going to be traveling between Mesquite and St. George until we can all be together.

My mom will also be moving in with us to help with childcare so we can continue working and create consistency for the girls. She works full-time supporting adults with disabilities and is consistently involved in her community through Special Olympics. We are so grateful to her for stepping in to help us create a strong, supportive home for the girls.

Our goal is simple: secure a safe and stable home where my daughters can come back and we can finally be together again.

We are working to raise $8,500 to cover the upfront costs of housing, including deposits, rent, pet-related fees, utility setup, and basic essentials like beds so the girls have a comfortable place to come home to.

We are not standing still. We are working, making progress, and doing everything we can to rebuild. We just need help closing this gap so we can take the final step forward.
