My dad is currently being held in an immigration detention center. He came to this country looking for a better life, just like so many others before him.
Now he’s locked up in a place where the lights are kept on 24/7, making it almost impossible to sleep. It feels like psychological torture. No one should be treated this way—especially not people whose only “crime” is trying to build a better future for themselves and their families.
The immigration system is broken. It’s slow, confusing, and unfair. Instead of helping people like my dad find a legal path to stay, it traps them in red tape and punishes them for trying. He deserves to be with his family, not locked in a cell under constant light like he's done something wrong.
And yet, even while going through this now, he remains thankful. He’s grateful that, despite everything, he was able to give his children a life here in this wonderful country—one filled with opportunities, safety, and hope. That’s all he ever wanted.
We're not asking for special treatment—we’re asking for humanity. Please help us fight for our dad. No donation is too small. We appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
