Bring on the Heat for the Sisters!

The Franciscan Sisters of Peekskill are in need of four new boilers and major heating repairs for their 150-year old Convent nestled above the Peekskill Riverfront.  The Sisters have been earnestly fundraising but could use all the help they can get to boost their efforts.  Friends, neighbors and community members are invited to come and enjoy a delicious meal in the spirit of community and caring in order to help them reach their goal.  A Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, 1/12/2017 from 6-9pm at the Historic Peekskill Elks Lodge, located at 1038 Brown Street, Peekskill.  Tickets are $25/pp and may be purchased here.  Please specify how many tickets you would like and your email confirmation will serve as your ticket.  Donations towards the Sisters' New Boilers and Heating Repairs are gratefully accepted here also -- kindly note if you are donating in lieu of ticket purchase.   The Franciscan Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart live a life of pure service to others whenever the need arises -- they have taught us, raised us, clothed and fed us, and at times even housed us.  We are honored to be able to now help them in their time of need.  Thank you all!
