Bring Nita's Kids Back: A Mother's Plea

Hi, I'm Nita and I'm a single mother of 5 kids. My kids have been kidnapped by CPS for no reason.

Let's go back to 11/30/24. I was arrested for a DWI and 5 charges of abandonment and neglect with no intent to return because the arresting officer went to my home and called CPS, saying my kids were home alone. My kids weren't left home alone; my friend literally went to the corner store to get something, and before the officer left my house, she was back. Them charges for my kids have since been DROPPED But he called CPS, and they kept harassing me about wanting to see my kids. I let them come and "investigate," and they wanted me to take a drug screen. I passed the urine test, but they claimed my hair test was dirty, so they wanted to remove my kids because they said I was unfit. I didn't let them take my kids, and they went and got an order from a judge to remove my kids.

I have passed literally every drug screen since, and they still won't return my kids to me. I already suffer from depression from losing any support I had with my kids, which was my parents, and they know that. I feel like they want me to suffer. I have a court-appointed lawyer, but he doesn't defend me; he agrees with everything these people say about me negatively. I need a lawyer to represent me to get my kids back. I miss them so much. We only see each other once a week, and my kids break down every visit and want to come home, but these people don't listen to what my kids want. I just want my babies back home so we can be a family and happy again.

They are constantly saying bad things about me, and the judge said I can lose my rights. I just need a paid attorney to get my babies. I lost my good job because my job didn't want to understand that I needed to leave work early for our visits and go to these court dates, so my attendance points racked up, and I was terminated. I still have bills to pay at home because I can't lose my home; then that will be something else they will use against me by saying I don't have a home for my kids to return to. So, I just ask that you find it in your heart to help me get an attorney for me and my babies' reunification, please.
