Bring Nico to His Mom in Crisis

Many of you know my brother in law Nick/Nico Goddard as a local brewer, bartender, or friend. Or maybe you’ve seen him on the news fighting for city improvement and free downtown parking. However you know him, I’m starting this Go-Fundme for Nico. My hope is we can all pull together and help his family in a time of need. Earlier this week Nico learned the very heartbreaking news that his mother has been diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer that has spread to her kidney and lung. She's been given 5 months to live if she doesn't get/pursue surgery to remove a tumor from her kidney. If she does get the surgery it will drastically affect her quality of Life and will only extend expectancy by a few months.

Nico hasn’t seen his mom since 2012 and was planning a trip to Germany to visit her within the next few years. This trip is now urgently necessary if there’s any chance of him getting to see his mother one last time and allow her to meet her granddaughter, Briar. Plane tickets are unfortunately expensive and there has been little to no time for funds to be saved. Please help me in raising the money to make this possible for our friend.
