We are starting this GoFundMe for Amy and her two kids. This fundraising is to raise funds for legal and investigations expense to bring her children, Nala and Noah back home, who were abducted.

This is a simplified version:

Amy’s ex husband, Fil abducted her 2 kids and she hasn’t seen them for almost 3 months now. He was supposed to return them Sunday Oct 31st, but he didn’t. The sad thing about this, is that Fil has done this before and Amy didn’t get them back for almost 5 months. It was extremely hard, but she was miraculously able to rescue them and bring them home. Although Amy had a restraining order and was on track to making sure Fil didn’t have access to them besides supervised visitations, she ran into an unfortunate situation where the judge on her case was out. A visiting judge who knew nothing about the case or what they’ve been through, was filling in. And this visiting judge denied her requests. So, her Ex was allowed to pick up the kids every other weekend. Amy hasn’t seen or talked to her kids since October 29th.  Her Ex is currently believed to be in Africa with the children. His specific location in Africa is still unknown because he is hiding them at a secluded location. 

 

This money will help with legal and investigation expense. These expenses are too much because we are dealing with both US and African justice systems. The situation is even more complicated and expensive because not all countries in Africa are members of The Hague Convention against the crime of International Parental Child Abduction, and because the system is very corrupt and completely broken.
