Hi! My name is Juanita Whiteman. My husband, Larry W. Whiteman, died on Monday, March 13th, 2023. I am trying to bring our eldest son, Matthew, his wife, Puja, and our grandson, age 6, home for a memorial service, so our family can mourn together.

Matthew has been living in Nepal for 11+ years where he is a teacher. My husband and I last saw Matthew and his family in 2017 when we traveled to Nepal for our grandson’s birth.

The cost for 3 round-trip tickets and visas for Matthew’s wife and son is approximately $7,000. Also because Matthew will not have income while in the U.S., I would like to provide him with a cushion to pay his rent and bills while here.

I am asking for help because neither I nor Matthew have the money to pay for the flights and visas, and Matthew cannot afford to miss work as he lives paycheck to paycheck.

Please help me bring our son and his family home for my husband’s (Matthew’s dad’s) memorial service.
