Hi everyone, my name is Chianti. I’m creating this GoFundMe because I’m fighting to bring my daughter, Mahalia, back home to Texas where she belongs.

Recently, I allowed Mahalia to stay temporarily with my mom in Kentucky while I complete my last year in college. Unfortunately, things have taken a painful and unexpected turn. My mom has taken Mahalia’s tablet and blocked all communication, which means my baby can’t call me. I have no way to see her or hear her voice, and it breaks my heart.

I am Mahalia’s custodial parent, and I’m doing everything in my power to make sure she’s safe and surrounded by the love and stability she deserves. I will never stop fighting for my daughter, but right now, I need help to get to her.

A recent accident left me without transportation, and I don’t have the funds to rent a car or cover the travel and emergency necessities needed to bring Mahalia home. The costs include:

• Rental car for the trip to Kentucky and back

• Gas and travel expenses

• Immediate essentials for Mahalia once she’s with me
