Our project is raising funds to bring clean, reliable electricity to thousands of children living deep within the primary Amazonian rainforest of Ecuador.
Our partner communities belong to the Achuar nationality, located nearly six hours by boat from the nearest city (Puyo). These villages have never experienced electric light—no utility grid reaches them.
Through this initiative, each household will receive a solar energy kit that includes one solar panel, four LED lights, and a small power bank. This simple yet powerful technology will:
- Empower children with light to study after sunset and access educational resources.
- Improve health and communication, enabling access to vital information.
- Support local livelihoods, giving adults more productive time for handcrafts and community work.
Beyond transforming daily life, the project will reduce lead battery waste, protecting soil and water, while advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of universal energy access.
A dedicated network of renewable energy specialists will volunteer their expertise to ensure the proper installation, training, and maintenance of the systems. Every donor will receive documented evidence of the installations they help make possible.
Together, we can light up the Amazon—one home at a time.
