Bring Lenny and Moishe Home From Ukraine

 

Lenny and Moishe, the twin sons of Sasha Spektor and Irma Nuñez, were born via surrogate on February 25 in Kyiv, Ukraine. They came into the world two months early, at the end of a complicated pregnancy and the beginning of a war.

 

Lenny and Moishe are healthy (and hairy!) but need additional medical care before they are strong enough to travel to the United States. Sasha and Irma will soon head to Warsaw, where they will work to coordinate medical transport out of Kyiv then exit from Ukraine for their boys, as well as for the surrogate who carried them, her 6-year-old son, and possibly two other newborns from the same agency.

 

Friends are raising funds to help cover the costs of these efforts.

5 февраля, в Киеве, у Саши Спектора и Ирмы Нуньез с помощью суррогатной матери родились близнецы Ленни и Мойше.  Малыши появились на свет на два месяца раньше срока, после осложненной беременности, в разгар войны.

 

Ленни и Мойше здоровые (и очень волосатые!) мальчики, но чтобы приехать в США им необходима дополнительная медицинская помощь.  Саша и Ирма собираются в Варшаву, откуда они будут пытаться организовать медицинский транспорт для детей из Киева, чтобы вывезти их из Украины вместе с их суррогатной матерью, ее 6-летним сыном и еще двумя детьми только что родившимися в том же агенстве. 

 

Их друзья пытаются собрать средства, чтобы помочь им успешно привезти их сыновей домой.
