Bring Kevin Back to His Loving Family

Donation protected

Kevin is a 19-year-old young man born in Guatemala. Kevin had a very difficult childhood since his biological mother abandoned him at the age of 6, forcing him to live on the streets of Guatemala City.
At age 12, Kevin was picked up by the government and transferred to a foster home. Kevin had not been registered by his mother at birth, therefore, his exact chronological age is unknown; he had never attended school. The foster home made the arrangements for him to attend school for the first time at age 13. In 2019, he met my son Armando and they became friends. My son asked me to meet him and spend time with him. At first, we were allowed to spend time with him for only a weekend, but then, as time went by, a judge allowed Kevin to live with us as a foster child .Kevin wasn't born in my womb, but in my heart. He doesn't have my last name, but he's my son. From the moment he came into our lives, we knew he was already part of our family. The decision to have him join wasn't just mine. I spoke to my children and explained what a new member meant, and they
With us, he has proven to be a helpful, honest young man with a protective instinct. He loves gardening, baking, and cooking. In January 2024, my uncle was murdered, and we had to leave Guatemala due to the crime rate in the country and retaliation against us. In September 2024, we entered the United States under the humanitarian parole program, but due to the president's new laws, our work permit was revoked.
Kevin was going to work when a police officer detained them and handed them over to ICE.

My family welcomed him very well, and we realized that it was no coincidence that he came into our lives, as he has taught us to be kind, with a heart that knows how to forgive despite everything bad that may happen to us. Since 2020, Kevin has lived with us as a member of our family during the time he was in the group home.
we are making this fundraiser to help our friend get her family back together , we appreciate any donation that is given to us and we know in return you will get blessed in helping us during this heartbreaking time .
