Bringing Magic to Kids in Title I Schools: Help Create Wonder!

Imagine the joy and wonder of a child experiencing a live magic show for the first time. Now, imagine the faces of students in Title I schools—schools where most children live at or below the poverty line—lighting up with that same sense of amazement. These kids rarely get to enjoy experiences like this, simply because their schools can’t afford to bring in professional entertainers. That’s where you come in.

What Would You Do if Money Was No Object?

A friend asked me this recently, and I immediately knew my answer: “If money wasn’t a concern, I’d perform free shows for senior centers, charity fundraisers, and especially Title I schools.” Sharing the joy of magic with those who need it most is my passion.

What Is a Title I School?

Title I schools serve students from low-income families, where resources are scarce, and funding for extra programs like live entertainment is often nonexistent. As a result, these children often miss out on opportunities to experience live art and the wonder that comes with it.

Why Can’t You Just Perform for Free?

I already donate as many shows as I can, but there are real costs involved—travel, lodging, props, giveaways, and maintaining my equipment. Even virtual shows have expenses, from high-quality streaming gear to paying the talented team who helps me create an engaging experience for kids. Every show I donate without support is also a day I can’t take on corporate or theater shows that help support the family members who rely on me.

With your support, I can reach more Title I schools and bring magic to kids who deserve to experience wonder and joy. Every dollar raised will help cover the basic expenses for me to donate shows at a deep discount. Here’s what your donation can achieve:

• $7,000 will allow me to perform 14 Zoom shows or 7 in-person shows (or a mix of both) for Title I schools.

• Any amount helps bring a little more magic into these kids' lives.
