This January, many of you joined our family in supporting the Mukuru Promotion Centre in Nairobi, helping (for example) a brilliant child transition from life on the streets -- sleeping on cardboard boxes -- to top of his class in school. Thanks to your generosity, his life has changed forever.

Now, as we prepare to leave Nairobi (in just two days!), my son Ian is raising funds for a new mission: to equip the same center with basic sports gear -- a goalie net, soccer balls, and a ping pong table. For boys who’ve experienced unthinkable hardship, physical play is healing, joy, and dignity. Right now, they have none of that.

We need just $1500 to ensure that hundreds of boys can play sports.

Every dollar goes directly to the purchases for the center and any extra funds will support the boys’ educational needs.
