@TwoHearts_OneCause is a project started by 5-year old's: Ava & Aria Castro.

This cause began right a little after Covid. The idea behind it was to give those in need and make our birthday an opportunity to do it. Given that our birthday is a little right after Christmas, rather than getting a lot more presents, we wanted to give to those in need.

We raise funds and ask for donations rather than birthday presents, so that we can bring joy to kids and seniors. Every holiday season since we were 2 years old, we have taken the opportunity to bless kids and seniors.

Last year, we blessed about 10 kids with Christmas gifts including school supplies and we were able to donate to a senior home living for abandoned seniors with about a month worth of groceries .

This year, our goal is to be able to provide for 20 kids through the event that Olimpica Stereo (a local radio station in Colombia) hosts every year and be able to donate new toys, clothes and school supplies. We would like to also be able to donate 2 months worth of groceries and personal hygiene items to senior home for seniors who have been abandoned. Lastly, if funds are enough, we would like to feed as many as we can living in poverty on the streets and/or cover a medical expense for a low income family waiting treatment for a child at the Clinica Noel in Cali, which is a clinic for low income.

We are so privilege to what we have here in this country that we often forget the struggles that people go through in other countries.

@TwoHearts_OneCause is the beginning of a life long desire to help those in need. There are so many unprivileged kids and seniors in Latin America that our hope is to help as many as we can and bring them smiles!
