The holidays can be the hardest time of year for young people in foster care - a season that often highlights what’s missing instead of what’s possible. At Fostering Joy, we believe every youth deserves to feel seen, valued, and celebrated - which includes having gifts to open on Christmas morning.

This is our 6th annual Holiday Drive - a community effort to bring comfort, connection, and a little JOY to youth in foster care across Orange County.

With your help, we’ll provide:

• Personalized gifts based on their wishlists for teens in foster care

• Holiday care packages filled with essentials, treats, and messages of encouragement

• A joyful holiday feast filled with warmth, connection, and care.

Last year, we delivered gifts and care packages to over 50 youth — thanks to generous supporters like you. This year, our goal is to reach 55 youth and make sure every single one feels the love and hope this season should bring.

Your donation — no matter the amount — directly funds:

• $25 = Christmas stocking for 1 youth

• $75 = New shoes for 1 youth

• $100 = New clothes for 1 youth to wear when going back to school after winter break

• $200 = Wishlist fulfillment for 1 youth

• $500 = Christmas dinner for 1 group home (6 youth)

Together, we can remind these young people that they are not alone - that community, kindness, hope and maybe even joy still exist.
