On the morning of December 2nd, 2023 our beautiful 14 year old son, Jose, awoke not feeling well. Within minutes his condition scalate to the worse, Jose passed out and stopped breathing. He was transferred by ambulance to a local hospital, were the medical crisis team struggled to resuscitated him, his diagnosis and prognosis quickly shattered our hearts. Our "Peanut" was paralyzed from his neck down by an unexplainable non-traumatic deterioration of his spine from which "healing" was unlikely. Jose was transferred to ChildServe in Johnston, Iowa where we received the breaking hearts notification that he is required to live as a quadriplegic. Now our most wanted wish as a family is to be able to be together again and to try to give our son a "new normal". Our "home" however, needs a lot of repairs and updates to make that possible. After a couple research and tries of seeking help, we have only found close doors, and that is why we are asking for your financial assistance and support. This past Friday 12/20/24 we learned that our one hope of help request, have been denied, because the budget for our home renovation is over $50.000 dollars. We need to build a ramp, add floor, and a waking bathroom for Jose's medical needs. Will you find in your hearts the kindness of helping us get Jose home! Please and thank you, God bless you all!
