After concluding the first IV Lily Pad Project with Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital, I realized that I wanted to enable others to bring IV Lily Pads to their local Children’s Hospitals.
My goal is to collect enough donations from interested individuals, groups, and organizations who wish to make IV Lily pads. This will enable me to maintain the IVLilyPad.org website and share all the instructions, information, and lessons learned, ultimately helping more IV Lily Pads reach young patients in need.
An IV lily pad is a platform decorated with kid-friendly art placed at the base of an IV pole to make the experience of receiving an infusion treatment less challenging and stressful for young patients. Young patients can sit, stand, or enjoy the lily pad platform while undergoing these infusions.
Thank you for your support!
