Bring Hope to Tracy Cantrell and Her Boys

Hi...my name is Kendyl. I'm starting a GOFUNDME for Tracy Cantrell and her sons, Lucas and Deacon. Tracy has been diagnosed with GBS. Guillain-Barré syndrome. A condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves. The first treatment she received did not work. She was transferred to Temple where a different, second treatment was administered. Now she is in rehab for another 20 days. Tracy's Dad has been helping take care of the boys for more than 3 weeks now. This money will help Tracy and the boys with everyday needs, plus help with getting the boys ready for school. Their school supplies are being taken care of by some lovely ladies who are also Tracy's friends.

I didn’t realize how much I took for granted before I was diagnosed.

*Walking

*Getting out of bed

*Rolling over in the bed

*Sitting up in the bed

*Taking a bath/shower

*Driving

*Seeing my babies every day

*Holding my phone correctly

*Signing my name

*Writing in general

*Eating correctly

*Being able to sit on a toilet

*Picking up a phone without it falling on my face

*My beautiful smile

*Being able to do everything without assistance

Life is SHORT.

DO NOT take anything for granted.

Everything can change in the blink of an eye.

Be grateful for all you have and everything you are. Remember who is most important to you and cherish them. Life is a gift. Appreciate it.

I am truly grateful that this diagnosis is not permanent. I will FIGHT until I’m walking again.

I should be moving into an inpatient rehabilitation center this week to continue my recovery. I am extremely thankful for my friends and family for supporting me through this time and coming to see me. I appreciate y’all more than you know. ❤️❤️
