Bring Hope to the Taylors' Parenthood Dream

Hi friends and family, this is our 2024 couple we are raising money for. Below is their story.

Since I (Samantha) was a little girl I have dreamed about being a mom. Growing up, my mom had own in home daycare with countless kiddos coming in and out of our home over the years. It was never a dull moment and I dreamed of the day where I would be able to start my own family. My love for children only grew from there. In high school I discovered I wanted to become a teacher but not just any teacher a Special Education teacher. I wanted to reach a community of children that is often very under looked and over criticized. I went to school and got my degree in Special Education, I am currently living out my dream career at a level D placement for kiddos with high and intense needs.

When Christian and I met we quickly discovered we shared some of the same dreams and passions. Christian is one of four kids and has always dreamt of raising his children, pointing them towards the Lord each and every day.

For the last two years Christian and I have tried tirelessly to start our family. As many couples going through infertility we were told all the typical things. “Just wait a year”, “you’re young, I’m sure everything is fine”, “just relax and it will happen”. It wasn’t until about 7 months ago that we finally felt like we were being listened to and we received a diagnosis of “Male Factor Infertility”. To say we were heartbroken would be an understatement.

After much prayer, counseling, and endless conversations we have decided to try IVF treatments in order to grow our family. We are terrified to embark on this journey but we know that God has the most perfect plan for our future family & we are trusting in him with everything in us. Thank you for being here for the journey, it means the world to us.
