Please Help Us Save Our Family Home—Before It’s Too Late
Dear Friends, Family, and Kindhearted Strangers,
We are reaching out today with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. For three generations, our family home has been a place of laughter, healing, and dreams. It was lovingly built in the late 1940s by a hardworking family who poured their soul into every brick, board and nail. That family later entrusted it to ours—and we vowed to preserve their legacy and our shared memories for generations to come. But now, that dream is slipping away. And time is running out.
Our Journey
We set out to restore and protect this historic home, honoring the past and building a future.
Instead, we have faced a nightmare:
• We were frauded out of tens of thousands of dollars—First we had $20,000 stolen by a contractor who abandoned us, leaving only damage behind.
• We have fought to keep going, pouring over $150,000 of our life savings into rebuilding. Progress was made—until we were forced to stop construction and then tragedy struck again: our second contractor fell terminally ill, leaving the work unfinished and funds depleted.
• In the three+ years that we’ve been fighting this battle we’ve also battled legal fights over property access, government overreach, and rights we’ve held for decades, facing overwhelming emotional and financial strain.
And still—we fight on. Because this home is more than brick, wood and nails. It is the soul of our family.
Now, we are racing against time to finish this home while two of the most important people who have been impacted by this are still here to see it:
• A 92-year-old man whose family first built this home with their own hands, and
• Our father, a 100% disabled veteran, who dreams of returning to the home that gave him peace.
We are desperate to give them the gift of seeing it whole again—to sit on the porch, to feel the breeze, to see their legacy continue, to know that their love and sacrifice are not forgotten.
Why We Need Your Help
After years of heartbreak and loss, we simply cannot do it alone anymore.
We are asking for help to:
• Finish the family home before it’s too late.
• Help with mounting legal costs to protect the property, fight government overreach, and defend the rights we’ve been denied.
• Restore hope for two heroes who deserve to see this dream fulfilled.
How You Can Help:
• Donate – Every contribution brings us one step closer to finishing what generations before us began.
• Share – Spreading our story could reach the miracle we so desperately need.
• Recommend a Contractor or Legal Support – Trustworthy help would change everything.
• Send Encouragement – Your kindness gives us strength when the burden feels too heavy.
If we are blessed to raise more than needed, any additional funds will be donated to veteran support services —a cause our family holds dear.
We have fought so hard. We are still fighting. And we are clinging to hope with everything we have left. Please help us rebuild not just a home, but a dream that spans many generations.
Please help us give this gift to those who have given so much. With deepest gratitude and hope, The Henry Family
