Help Our Family Finally Come Home ❤️
Hello! We are the Conn Family. My name is Kayla, and I’m a proud wife and mother of three amazing children. Life threw us a curveball after Hurricane Helen. Since the storm, it’s been a journey of challenges, blessings, and holding tightly to our faith.
After the hurricane, our family of five moved into a small camper that we paid rent to live in, just to have a roof over our heads. But by the grace of God, a kind soul donated a camper to us. That moment changed everything. We were beyond grateful to have a space of our own, even if it was just one bedroom. It gave us shelter, hope, and a place to call “home” again.
But as our children grow, the tight space has become more than just a squeeze; it’s taken a toll emotionally, physically, and mentally. Especially with one of our children living with a Sensory Processing Disorder, the lack of space can make even daily routines overwhelming.
We’ve been searching high and low for a permanent home for the past two months, and we finally found the one. A beautiful 2023 single-wide modular home in Black Mountain, NC (we’re currently in Marion). It has never been lived in, and it’s everything we’ve been praying for: clean, peaceful, and a place to truly call our forever home.
But we need help.
The cost to move in is $4,000 — an amount we simply do not have after and living paycheck to paycheck. My husband is our sole provider so I can stay home to care for our children, especially our sensory-sensitive little one.
We are humbly asking for your support, whether that’s a donation, a share of our story, or simply a prayer.
No gift is too small. And truly, the most powerful thing you can do is pray for us. If this home is where the Lord wants us to be, we believe He will make a way — and we thank Him in advance for every heart He touches through this journey.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for being a part of our blessing.
With love and gratitude,
Kayla & Family ❤️
