This is our son Jacob and the love of his life, Bailey. Words cannot express how grateful we are that he survived cancer and he that he is able to share his life with Bailey. How do we ask for yet another miracle for them to have a child?

The treatment that cured Jacob's cancer included a bone marrow transplant which saved his life, but stole his fertility.

In April of 2011, at the age of 13, Jacob was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Chemotherapy and a perfectly matched bone marrow transplant from his 3 year old brother cured him. We will forever be grateful for the countless friends, family and medical professionals that carried Jacob through that time, supported our family and saved his life. He has been blessed to be able to finish school, serve a mission for his faith and he now serves as a firefighter in his community. He's always dreamed of one day also being a Dad.

Throughout their 5 years of marriage, Jacob and Bailey put money away to save in hopes of an IVF pregnancy to start their family. This year in 2024, they poured it all into that dream. We were all heartbroken to find out that it didn't work and they lost their precious embryo babies before they could even be implanted.

Jacob and Bailey are not giving up hope and their next step is towards adoption while also exploring other options for them to grow a family including potential medical fertility treatments available in other countries.

Jacob and Bailey spent close to $25,000 on their IVF attempt. The next steps are expected to cost as much, if not more. Any support, no matter how small, will be treasured and appreciated more than you can imagine! Every dollar received will be held sacred for the purpose of bringing a child to this wonderful and inspiring couple so ready to grow their forever family!
