Hello my name is Stacy Taylor and I am trying to help raise funds for a fellow respiratory therapist and friend, Gwen Walden. Since retiring Gwen's home has fallen into disrepair. She was featured on KFDM as being on notice from the city of Beaumont to bring her home up to code. She currently has no utilities since the city has shut them off. She is not only in need of money for bills and repairs, but also is in need of donation of repair services and materials. Anything that you can provide would certainly be appreciated in helping her to bring her home up to code. She received a small extention of time to work on it, but is struggling to find the resources that she needs and people qualified to help do the work.

As a lifelong respiratory therapist Gwen has given back to the community not only as bedside clinician but also as an educator. She has taught and mentored hundreds of respiratory therapy students over her lifetime. Now is the time for us to help her. Gwen has had many health issues since retiring which has made it much more difficult maintaining a home. She is an insulin dependent diabetic who has overcome cancer.
