We are requesting help for three mothers from the Oxnard community who were detained by ICE at Glasshouse this past July 10th.

Rutila Vicente – Mexican origin, mother of two children: a 2-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy.

Araceli Flores – Mexican origin, mother of two children: a 1-year and 8-month-old girl and a 10-year-old boy with special needs.

Catarina Sixto - Mexican/mixteca origin, mother of two years old girl with autism.

These three women—workers, mothers, wives, sisters, and friends—were simply seeking a better future for themselves and their families. They were sent to a detention center in Los Angeles and, two days later, transferred to a detention center in El Paso, Texas, where they are currently being held.

They need our support to cover daily expenses as well as legal costs. Their families are alone and have sought help without receiving any response from the Mexican consulate or any other institution. The amount raised will be divided equally among them.

Please help us bring these mothers back into the arms of their young childre

Estas tres mujeres, trabajadoras, madres, esposas, hermanas, amigas solo buscaban un futuro mejor para ellas y sus familias. Ellas fueron enviadas a un centro de detención en Los Ángeles y dos días después fueron trasladada a un centro de detención en El Paso, Texas y actualmente se encuentran ahí.

Necesitan de nuestro apoyo para cubrir gastos diarios, al igual que gastos legales. Las familias están solas, han buscado ayuda sin obtener respuesta del consulado mexicano o cualquier otra institución. La cantidad que se reúna será repartida en partes iguales.

Ayúdenos a regresar a las madres a los brazos de sus pequeños hijos.
