Hi, our names are Adam and Alexandra Barczewski, and we’ve been dreaming of starting a family since the day we got married three years ago. Unfortunately, our journey has not been easy. After years of struggling to conceive naturally, we turned to IVF for answers. Testing revealed that we only have a 3–4% chance of conceiving on our own, and IVF is our best — and likely only — option to finally become parents.

We have already gone through the initial process, completed the testing, and scheduled our dates to begin treatment. Just as we were ready to move forward, we were hit with devastating news: our medical insurance will not cover a single part of this journey — not the treatment, not the procedures, and not even the medications.

We were blindsided to learn that the medications alone will cost $12,000, on top of what we’ve already paid out of pocket for the IVF process itself. This unexpected financial burden has left us overwhelmed, but we are determined not to give up on our dream of becoming parents.
