Hello,

My name is Rabbi Benzion Shemtov. I am co-director of Chabad of Sierra Vista, AZ.

On November 4th, 2024, I, along with Mr. Barry and David Levitt from Sierra Cycles, will be embarking on a one-week solidarity trip to Israel as part of the JLI's Land and Spirit.

As part of our itinerary we are scheduled to visit the medical facilities caring for the Israeli soldiers who were wounded in the October 7th attack. We will also be visiting a Kibbutz in the south and the Nova festival site that were impacted by the war. At each stop, we will be hearing from those directly effected by the horrors of that day.

Our goal in creating this GoFundMe campaign is to positively impact each person we encounter at every stop along the way, whether it is a displaced Holocaust survivor now living in shelter or a wounded solider. Imagine what a modest contribution from our small community can do to uplift them and give them courage.
