Bring home baby McCormick

Hey friends the McCormicks need our help! Just a few days ago, they found out that a birth-mom chose them. She thought she was due in February but they got a call that she had the baby last night!! It all happened so quickly that they need our help financially to raise the $12,000 that they need in just 3 days. Let’s all help to bring this baby home! Hi Friends and Family! We are so excited to announce the arrival of our beautiful son!

Friends it’s been a whirlwind of a week. We got a call on Tuesday that we were being considered from a birth mom here in Arizona. We knew she was pregnant but we thought she wasn’t due till February.

Well on Tuesday we found out she was a centimeter dilated and could have her baby any day. But we heard nothing. Then last night (Friday December 21) we got a call at 11pm that our son was born! We packed up and headed to the hospital where we got to hold our son at only 3 hours old!! A dream come true.

He came into the world with his own set of challenges but all things considered, he is doing really well. They need to monitor him in ICU and then we will see after that when he can come home. They are letting us stay here which is amazing, but we can’t wait to get back to our sweet RJ. We would love to bring him home for Christmas!

We had no idea we would be privately adopting so needless to say we have some major legal fees and adoption fees that we need to have by this MONDAY!!!!! I know crazy. It will be around $11,000. Which considering the circumstances that is not bad at all. We would appreciate anything you can give for this sweet boy, it would mean the world to us!

Please pray for this sweet baby and for his health and development to improve quickly. Please pray for immediate bonding and attachment for all of us as we get to know each other and that he would feel at home with us. Please also pray for the birth-mom who went home with empty arms yesterday. Finally, please pray for a name for this little guy!
