Hello Friends and Family,

After a nine-year journey through infertility and the heartache of losing five precious babies, we are shifting our focus to adoption to fulfill our dream of raising a child. Over the past two years, we have invested $52,000 in IVF in our efforts to bring a baby into our lives, and now we are reaching out for your support to help us welcome a child into our home through adoption.

We have so much love to give and are deeply committed to nurturing and supporting a child. Our hearts are filled with joy as we spend time investing in the lives of our nieces and nephew and the children of our friends. We eagerly look forward to the day we can share this love with our own child.

The adoption process is complex and involves significant costs. As we have started down this process we have found there are several unknown expenses that are not covered through these expected costs. Here is a breakdown of the known expenses we are facing:

• Adoption consultant: $4,000

• Home study: $3,000

• Profile book: $950

• Photographer: $200

• Agency fees, legal fees, court fees, birth mother medical and counseling expenses: $45,000-$88,000

• Travel expenses: $3,000

We have chosen to partner with Faithful Adoption Consultants to help guide us in this process. They will be there for us to provide education and support and pray with us during this journey. They even connect us with others in our area who have adopted so we can build community and have ongoing support.

We are thrilled to share that our application has been accepted with Faithful Adoption Consultants. Over the next three to four months, we will complete the required paperwork, profile book, and home study. Once that is complete, we will be active and our profile will be available to multiple agencies and attorneys nationwide that they partner with. We could be matched with an expectant mother anywhere from right away to an average of nine months. Most expectant mothers are around 32 weeks along when a match is made.

Adoption agencies typically expect financial readiness at match. This is a significant step for us, and we invite you to partner with us on this journey. All money raised will be used for the adoption process. If there are any excess funds, they will be allocated towards items needed for our baby once arriving home.
