Supporting Alexa A Teacher’s Heart Embracing Two Young Lives

For the past five years, Alexa has dedicated herself to shaping young minds as a teacher. As the 8th-grade homeroom teacher, middle school science teacher, and religion teacher for 7th and 8th grades, she guides her students with faith and love. Beyond the classroom, Alexa embodies community, coaching the girls' basketball team, running student council, organizing summer camps, and leading countless activities that inspire joy and connection.

Recently, Alexa’s life changed in an unimaginable way. She was unexpectedly named the guardian of two young children, ages 5 and 6, after the sudden passing of their father. These children, who tragically lost their mother years ago, were left to Alexa in their family’s will—a decision she learned of only after their father’s passing. Without warning, she has opened her heart and home to these children, providing them with safety, love, and stability during this difficult time.

While Alexa embraces this new role with faith and grace, the challenges are significant—especially during the Christmas season. As a Catholic school teacher, her resources are limited, and she could use our support to provide for the children’s needs and ensure they experience the joy and warmth of the holidays.

The funds raised will assist Alexa with immediate and ongoing needs, including childcare, food, clothing, and other essentials. It will also help her create a special and memorable Christmas for these children, giving them a sense of hope and comfort after so much loss.
