BRING FUCHSIA TO MEXICO

Fuchsia Remick is a Hakomi Practitioner and Teacher. She was a long time friend and student of Ron Kurtz.
She and her husband Dennis have always been examples of extraordinary generosity and kindness. Rather than prioritizing income they chose a life focussed on their values; family, community, and social justice. As well, Dennis had a significant cancer challenge. All of this had a financial impact.
There was only one Ron Kurtz. If you have an interest in Hakomi there is nothing that compares with learning from him directly. We are so fortunate that we were left with hours of video of Ron working. Other than Ron, the person most responsible for this treasure trove was Dennis Remick.
Dennis, who passed away this year, was a skilled professional photographer and film maker. He spent countless hours filming Ron in sessions and advanced workshops; and later editing the tape. Much of this Dennis did on his own time as a volunteer. He came to Hakomi through his wife Fuchsia and quickly wanted to support Ron's work. Dennis's background making wildlife documentaries in Alaska contributed to his sharp eye and uncommon ability to move among his subjects unnoticed. He was uniquely qualified for filming in the intimate setting of self discovery that is Hakomi.
This year in April the Hakomi Education Network will gather for an international congress in Mexico City. We will take some time to honour Dennis and acknowledge the priceless contribution he made to Ron's work.
Help us bring Fuchsia Remick to Mexico City. The Hakomi Educational Network (HEN) has graciously waived tuition for Fuchsia's attendance. Money raised will be used to pay for her travel and accommodations and make it possible for her to share in this honouring.
