My name is Laura Gutierrez, and I am reaching out during a very difficult time for my family. My mother, Elvia Cruz, who worked at Alamo Car Wash, was kidnapped by ICE on August 24, 2025.
My mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2007 and has been fighting it ever since. She urgently needs medical attention, but unfortunately, she cannot receive the necessary resources while being detained.
We are asking for any support you are able to provide during this challenging time. We want to bring her home so she can be with her family. Her grandchildren miss her deeply, as she is a significant support in their lives.

A mi madre le diagnosticaron cáncer en 2007 y ha estado luchando contra la enfermedad desde entonces. Necesita atención médica urgente, pero lamentablemente no puede recibir los recursos necesarios mientras está detenida.
