Hi, everyone. I’m Esperanza Rodriguez, on May 7th, 2025 my husband, Edwin Rodriguez, was taken into ICE custody. The ICE agents acted as tow truck drivers and told us they were towing our vehicle. My husband told me to grab the keys and when I walked outside they were putting him in handcuffs as more cars with police pulled up. The one putting the handcuffs on him looked at me and said, “We’re also with immigration.” My husband is now being detained at an immigration facility until a lawyer is able to get him out or they deport him. My husband is sole provider for our family as I do not work from bad pains from my current pregnancy and staying home to take care of our toddler. Due to this, I have no income at the moment. Until I’m able to secure a job and childcare, I’m asking that anyone who is able to please help us and donate to our fund. This fund will be going towards getting him a lawyer and utilities until further notice. We are doing our best to stay strong in such a devastating situation.
