On December 31, NYE, a time when you are anticipating the new year along side your loved ones, Edvin Alvarez, a devoted father, son, brother, and uncle was taken by ICE without explanation around noon time. Our family is struggling to process this sudden and painful situation.

Edvin is an honorable man with no criminal record. A Waltham High Graduate. A hardworking businessman who runs his own landscaping company and is known for his positive attitude, even when life has been difficult. No matter the challenges he faces, Edvin remains hopeful, strong, and focused on doing what’s right.

Above all, Edvin ALWAYS puts his family first. No matter what. Everything he does is for his three beautiful children, who rely on him for love, guidance, and stability. Being a present and supportive father is his greatest purpose in life.

This unexpected detention has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on our family. We are asking for prayers, support, and any help possible to cover legal fees and essential expenses as we work to bring Edvin home to where he belongs.
