Help Surprise Dillon: Restore His Beloved 1992 Pontiac Firebird!

Hello everyone,

My name is Tim Wall and I’m Dillon’s Dad.

Our amazing son, Dillon, has embarked on one of the toughest journeys of his life: Marine Corps boot camp. He’s always been the epitome of strength—mentally, physically, and emotionally resilient—with a heart of gold that shines through in everything he does. Dillon has never hesitated to lend a hand to friends, family, or even strangers in need, whether it’s fixing someone’s car late at night, helping a new neighbor move in while welcoming them into the neighborhood, or offering a listening ear during tough times. Now, as he pushes himself to serve our country, his closest friends and I want to give back to him in a big way.

Before shipping out, Dillon poured his heart, soul, and hard-earned savings into his dream car: a classic 1992 Pontiac Firebird. He bought it on his own as a teenager, spent countless hours under the hood tinkering and upgrading it, and turned it into a symbol of his independence and passion. This Firebird isn’t just a vehicle—it’s a testament to his dedication and grit. Unfortunately, it’s broken down again, sitting idle in the parking lot of his previous apartment complex four hours from home while he’s away training.

That’s where you come in! We’re starting this GoFundMe to raise funds to get Dillon’s Firebird home, running smoothly and hopefully looking brand new by the time he graduates boot camp. Imagine the look on his face when he comes home to his fully restored ride—polished, repaired, and ready for the open road. At the very least, home and running to take with him to his first duty station. We’ll use the donations for towing it back from Tallahassee to Jacksonville, professional mechanical repairs, parts, bodywork, paint, and any cosmetic upgrades to make it shine like it did in ’92.

Our goal is $10,000 to cover everything from the towing, engine fixes to a fresh coat of paint. Every dollar counts, and we’ll keep everyone updated with progress photos and stories about Dillon along the way.
