As many of you know, our beloved Mike received a devastating diagnosis on October 8, 2023: Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor. Over the past year, he and his family have faced a journey filled with challenges that have tested their courage and strength. Mike has endured a major brain surgery, countless doctor visits, and grueling rounds of radiation and chemotherapy.

Through every moment, Mike has shown remarkable resilience, humor, and positivity, inspiring everyone around him. He’s cherished special moments, including watching his children start their own families—a milestone he fought tirelessly to witness. But now, his strength is waning.

Last week, Mike was readmitted to the hospital, and the news was heartbreaking: new tumor growth has returned, impacting his mobility and clouding his mind. After so many battles, Mike and his family have made the profoundly difficult decision to stop treatment. He has been given just 2-4 months to live.

This GoFundMe is an opportunity for us to gather around Mike, Lisa, and their family, to show them they’re not alone. Lisa’s focus now is on being by her husband’s side, treasuring these final moments without the added burden of financial worry.
