Bring Clean Water to Our Rural School (Gadaga primary &secondary schools) in Zimbabwe

Hello, friends and supporters,

We are reaching out to you with an urgent and heartfelt request to help us provide clean water to our school in rural Zimbabwe. Our dedicated students and teachers are currently facing a significant challenge: the lack of a reliable water supply. This not only affects their health but also hampers their learning experience.

Our school serves a vibrant community, but the absence of a borehole means that students and teachers must walk long distances to fetch water. This takes precious time away from their education and puts their health at risk. By drilling a borehole and connecting it directly to our school, we can ensure that everyone has access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities.

We aim to raise £12,000 to cover the costs of surveying the ground , drilling a borehole, water storage tanks and installing the necessary water connections. This will provide our school with a sustainable source of clean water for years to come. Additionally, any funds raised beyond our target will be used to purchase bricks for the construction of a much-needed classroom to accommodate our growing student population.

The last time we visited the school, we donated sanitary pads to all the girls in the secondary school and that how we realised the need of a good water supply.
